Mucho Mas Macho

Mucho Mas Macho is a once-in-a-lifetime horse.  He was our very first racehorse, having acquired him at the 2011 Ocala Breeders Sale Select Auction of two-year-olds in training.  At four years of age, he won the Grade 2 Ft. Lauderdale Stakes at Gulfstream Park, shortly after winning the Needles Stakes at Calder Race Track.  "Macho" was well-loved by everyone at the racing stable where he was known for antics that would garner attention.  He was also breath-taking to behold as his gray dappled coat and markings became more vivd with age.  He was retired at age seven, while he was still sprightly and sound, to a Maryland farm that will keep Macho active as a fox hunting outrider.

Chuffed To Bits

A visit with Chuffed to Bits always had us laughing.  He is a ham for the camera and full of antics.  Ever since we acquired this colt at Maryland's Timonium sale of two-year-olds in training, we wondered if he would be better served if we found him a career in show business!  He showed some early promise as a racehorse but eventually convinced us that racing was not his passion.  We were lucky to be introduced to a hunter-jumper trainer, who thought Chuffed's athleticism might lend itself to competitive show events.  And, indeed, he has warmed our hearts becoming a nationally-recognized hunter-jumper.

Ring Of Truth - In Memoriam

Ring of Truth was bred and initially raced by The Queen of England.  She showed great promise early in her career. When she did not quite reach the level of competitiveness required by The Queen, we had an opportunity to acquire her at Newmarket and bring her to the United States.  She was well on her way to greatness, when tragedy struck at Saratoga.  Another horse crossed her path leading to a misstep that fractured her shoulder, a fatal injury.  Ring of Truth will never be forgotten and we were blessed by her short time here.
